Nursing Identity

Our patients are perceived and accepted in their whole identity and their physical and psycho-social autonomy are promoted best by human commitment and dedication. At the same time, self-determination, life style, and cultural background, as well as the patient’s self-competence is respected. The most important task of the nursing personnel is the immediate attendance, consultation, and care of needy individuals and their relatives.

  • Recognize and assess problems and resources in regard to the physical, mental, spiritual, and social needs of those entrusted to our care
  • Include this knowledge in planning, executing, and evaluating individual and comprehensive care
  • Assist in the rehabilitation of the patient
  • Include the patient as a responsible partner in the nursing process

If recovery is not possible, the nursing staff following its specific humanitarian objective will accomplish its mission, to alleviate suffering and thoughtfully attend the patient.
